How to Add a Countdown Timer to Your Wedding Website

Step 1: Visit TickCounter

Open your browser and visit TickCounter.com.

Select Create a Countdown to begin.

Step 2: Set Your Wedding Date

Enter:

  • Wedding date
  • Wedding time
  • Time zone

Your countdown will automatically calculate the remaining days, hours, minutes, and seconds until your celebration.

Step 3: Customize Your Countdown

TickCounter offers several customization options, including:

  • Colors
  • Fonts
  • Background style
  • Display size
  • Labels
  • Rounded corners

Choose a style that complements your wedding website.

Step 4: Copy the Embed Code

Once you're happy with the design, copy the embed code provided by TickCounter.

You'll paste this into your Canva website in the next step.

Step 5: Open Your Canva Website

Open your HappilyEverColor wedding website template in Canva.

Navigate to the Countdown page (or wherever you'd like the timer to appear).

Step 6: Replace the Existing Embed

Select the existing countdown placeholder.

Paste your new TickCounter embed link.

Canva will automatically display your personalized countdown.

Preview Your Website

Use Canva's Preview feature to make sure everything displays correctly on desktop and mobile.
