How to Add an Interactive Google Map

Help Your Guests Find Their Way

Interactive Google Maps make it easy for guests to locate your ceremony, reception, hotel accommodations, and other important destinations.

Step 1: Open Google Maps

Search for your venue.

Step 2: Select Share

Click Share.

Then choose:

Embed a Map

Step 3: Copy the Embed Code

Google will generate an embed link.

Copy the entire embed code.

Step 4: Open Canva

Navigate to the page containing your interactive map.

Step 5: Replace the Existing Map

Select the current embedded map.

Paste your new Google Maps embed.

Your wedding location will automatically update.

Preview

Test your website to confirm guests can zoom, pan, and open directions.

Troubleshooting

If your map doesn't display, verify that you've copied the Embed version of the Google Map—not the regular sharing link.
